Help save pollinators, one dandelion at a time!
 
 
 With pollinator extinction rates 100 times higher than normal, they lack food sources and healthy environments, and we can help them with simple actions like letting dandelions grow a few days longer before mowing the lawn to offer them precious pollen and nectar.

King Honey Farm is also proud to have been one of the initiators of the Blooming Quebec Movement since 2024.  More specifically regarding the Dandelion Challenge, here are the actions we suggest you take:
 
 
 In May, we invite the public, municipalities and businesses to show their participation in the #dandelionchallenge in several ways:
 
 
 1) By letting dandelions grow freely on their lawns (while respecting the applicable standards in your municipality, of course. In most municipalities, the grass must not exceed 20 cm in height and must be cut at least once a month).
 
 
 2) Share your participation in the challenge using the hashtags #défipissenlits or #distillerieb by taking the best possible photos of the dandelions on your property
 
 
 3) For families and artists, color this beautiful drawing which can be downloaded for free.
